Company: IT Helpdesk Technician

This project was done to increase the security position of the company. It involved implementing Duo Two Factor Authentication and Microsoft Authentication for the entire company. Duo Authenticator was used for the was used for the Windows logon and RDP security. Microsoft Authentication was used for those who did not need that feature on their computer. This solution allowed for a cost effective solution.  Implementation was done over a couple of week in waves to reduce the load on the help desk. To reduce confusion during the rollout many emails were sent out to staff along with their supervisors. As it got closer to the day for implementation, I would send instructions to the group that would be enrolling the next week. Then I would reach out to their Administrators ask if they had any questions and coordinate a time that would work best to implement it. Following this method helped get 5/6 of the people to enroll without having to submit a ticket.
